I really am finished updating

I know that in my last entry I said I wasn't going to update the journal to include the pictures I took, but I decided that I couldn't just leave them broken like that. So I went through every entry and put back the pictures. I also cleaned some of the entries up a bit so they're easier to read.

I also moved all of the pictures to one gallery and while I might go through and organize them (Bawkmas pictures into their own gallery as an example), right now it's easier to just put them all into one pile.

I updated my ranks on the PSA Rank Tracker and included those links on the sidebar to the right. Many of the numbers I include are based on the messages so I don't know precisely how many times I've trained with each trainer.

Right now Jeanne is training with Unrastin (the Bloodmage ring trainer) and Moon Kitty is training with Radium (the Asklepian radius healing trainer). Neither will help with passing the next circle test but I'm not concerned about doing that at this time.

I think Jeanne needs more practice in controlling the mobs and getting them properly trapped and probably is killing them in the wrong order. Aside from getting some more Swengus to improve defense and perhaps get a third swing, I think her training is adequate to pass.

Moon Kitty has a tougher time of it because so much of her training are in areas that can't be used in the test. Her 300 Proximus and 500 Horus do absolutely nothing and if those ranks were put in Sprite and Respia she would have passed ages ago. On the other hand, being able to cad everyone within eyesight and help raise exiles who thought they had to depart is worth much more than passing a test so I can get a new color shirt. I do intend to resume my Sprite and Respia and Horus training after I become proficient with Radium and eventually I will pass the test but it is not a priority. I think people appreciate my healing style now no matter what circle I'm in. That's the most important thing for a healer.

Now that I've finally finished fixing everything, I can post actual journal entries.

Hello!

I read some of my previous entries and a lot has happened in the past year or so.

I'm still 5th circle but I've tried the test a while ago and I think my current plan of increasing my kill rate through getting more Regia, Balthus, and then some more Atkus will help me out a lot. I think having a base of 350 Atkus as opposed to the 300 Atkus I have now will do me well for quite some time. Even though many Bloodbladers have bypassed getting Atkus and just train in the Bloodblade I have no intention of relying on that weapon. I want to be able to use my own fighter skills to kill the majority of what's in the areas I frequent because Bloodblades should be situational weapons. So I'll keep the Bloodblade training at about 100 or so until the subclass gets put in and decide whether I will put more training into it. I want to be a good fighter not yet another Bloodblader who only got into the subclass because she sucks as a fighter.

I also learned the last language I needed to be a linguist by completing my Sylvan language training. I haven't purchased the ledger because it'll just take a backpack slot and it's a rather useless ledger.

Moon Kitty has done very well herself by passing into the 5th circle and is now training in the advanced Sylphstone Ring. Her Respia and Sprite training has helped her become a well-rounded healer and add Horus (300 so far and more will be trained) into the mix and I think she would be welcome anywhere high-level healers are needed. She will always have room for improvement and will always be working to being a better and better healer but I am very happy with how far she's come. Still nowhere near to passing the 6th circle test but still a very good healer.

Sor insisted on giving me a large sum of money so I used part of it to pay Mellion for the tin he sold me which I used to make an Iron Shield. I also used some of it to get the smallest Arbordale tree house which I put the two plants I've kept for quite some time and the mannequin that was a present from Sor. I used the mannequin to keep my SDC outfit so I can quickly change outfits before the SDC meetings. The room is still very empty but there are many things I could decorate it with although I am not going to go on a rampage to make sure it's crowded with stuff. Basically I'm going to use it as a library and a place for the mannequin.

Tomorrow is another Dun'ilsar but I won't be able to make it since I made plans to go elsewhere for learning from the Moon and I'll be away. I hope the Sun Dragon Clan manages to participate and does their best.

When I get back from my trip I hope to have a lot to say about the Moon.

Chapter 2 of Giayl's Guide to Hidden Ways

Houses are being tested in the Fairgrounds and from TinkerGM is saying, there will be lots of features when the houses are introduced and more to come such as a hunt token display case, library experience, and maybe even storage. The cost will be pretty high so I probably won't be able to afford it due to having quite a bit of expenses (library, clothing repair, skin dye, and storage) so I took the opportunity to make a house while I could.

I went to the Pitch Cave on the 10th of April and managed to actually get to the guide to read the second chapter. I think we all know what that trip is like with the waiting and the chaining and the rescuing and the last-ditch attempt which usually fails with everyone departing. This time a whole bunch of us made it to the library because of an excellent runner and then most of us made it back out and we made our way to the Ethereal Plane. It looked pretty bad with everyone fallen except Nightbird pulled through and saved us all especially since J'dy kept most of the stuff away from us. We killed everythin in that snell and then Nightbird opened another Ethereal Portal for us to return home via Purgatory.

I was pretty surprised we had a successful trip although I don't look forward to having to return there to get the third and final chapter which is necessary to make the advanced PF training worth all the time and effort it takes to get it. I say this because the path in the Trainer's Grotto, the path on Gungla's Island, and I think the path in the Meadow all require 130 pf. So basically I have to get the final chapter to make the first two chapters worthwhile.

Xepel suggested I fight the 5th-circle fighter test monsters in the Lava Beetle, Blood Wyrm, and Banshee order as opposed to the Banshee, Blood Wyrm, and Lava Beetle order I was using. I don't know how successful I'll be in preventing that Banshee from attaching itself to my tail but I'll try my best. I certainly can't be doing any worse than I have been with that test.

Moon Kitty finally gained a new level in Respia.

It felt like forever to get that message because she didn't know exactly how much she had after training with Sprite so she never knew when the message would change and she also learned how to make the Spirit Curative Potion along the way. She switched to Horus with the goal of getting to 250 before switching to Proximus. She was tempted to learn Proximus first but Horus is much more useful.
